- 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 pints strawberry ice cream
- 4 whole strawberries for garnish

In a small saucepan over medium heat combine the frozen strawberries and sugar. Cook until all the sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes.
Pour the strawberry mixture into a blender and puree until very smooth, about 3 minutes.
Pour into a small bowl and refrigerate until cold.
In the blender combine 1 cup of the strawberry syrup, milk, and 1 pint strawberry ice cream. Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
Add the other pint of strawberry ice cream and blend just until combined.
Divide the mixture among 4 glasses and drizzle each with strawberry syrup and top with a fresh strawberry. Serve with a spoon and straw.
