Strawberry Mousse recipe
Ingredients:
1 quart of strawberries, washed and hulled.
2 cups of heavy cream, whipped.
¾ cup of sugar.
½ cup of white wine.
½ cup of cold water.
½ cup of boiling water.
2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin.
Directions:
Reserve a few of the strawberries to use for garnishing.
Process the remaining strawberries in a blender.
Add the sugar and white wine; then stir thoroughly. Chill.
Soften the gelatin in the cold water.
Add the boiling water; stir to dissolve; then allow to cool.
Combine the gelatin and strawberry mixtures, then beat until fluffy and slightly thickened.
Fold in the cream.
Pour into a non-stick 2 quart mold.
Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
